Snow Business Like Snow Business

Over a year ago I wrote about BAA being unable to keep Thiefrow open during the snow.

Well here we are, some 13 months later, and BAA have once again demonstrated that they are unable to manage a piss up in a brewery.

Last night's "staggering" snow fall, of but a few centimetres, has caused BAA to cancel vast swathes of scheduled flights from Thiefrow today.

Evidently no one told BAA that snow was coming...oh, hang on a minute!!

One only has to look as far as the owners of the airport BAA Ltd.
They are an Authority, even when it came to naming their company customer service was not considered.

Air travel used to be an exciting experience, but now it is a necessary trial that must be endured. At best airport staff will ignore you, at worst they treat you with suspicion and contempt, always looking for the slightest reason to boss you around.

The fact that one of the worlds’ busiest and profitable airports cannot anticipate the prospect of snow in February and make plans accordingly show how they, like the airlines that use the airports, treat the hapless, fare paying passenger as an inconvenience, rather than the life-blood of their operation.

    Cunts.

Hah, you know the worst part? Have you ever had to explain to someone in Idaho (something like four feet in 24 hrs, or Canada) that the reason you're late is due to about three snowflakes. It's soooo embarrassing!

At least we don't have the perverts of the TSA fondling our genitals as we wait (this may be a minus point for some such as politicians and staff at the Guardian and BBC, but I for one am grateful for small mercies).
