#QualityStreetGate - Rationing

Following reports of the downsizing of Quality Street tins over the years, Nestle have responded saying it's not true.

As per the Telegraph a Nestlé spokesman said:
"This image does not compare like for like.

As well as the 780g tub pictured, we also have a 1.3kg tin available which lovers of Quality Street might like to try this Christmas.

We want to give the best possible value for money and we believe that this product is still extremely competitive."

  1. Assuming the picture is 100% accurate, prices increase all the time so it's either a smaller tin or twice the cost.

And aren't the 'sugar tax' nannies always bleating for stuff like this?

I am not a fan of supermarkets however, credit where credit is due, our local supermarket has an interesting piece of information on the price ticket which are on sweets etc......You have the price for the pack and then you have a figure for the cost per hundred grams.....This allows one to compare the cost of the same thing in different size tins, tubs or bags.
